Why 50 KB?
A few portals cap uploads at 50 KB per document. That is very small, so it works best for a single page — an ID card, one certificate or a one-page form. Text-only PDFs often fit with the “Light” level, which keeps text selectable; scans need stronger compression.
If it won't go small enough
- Split long documents with Split PDF and upload the parts separately, if allowed.
- Delete blank or unnecessary pages with Delete PDF pages.
- For photos, start again from the images with Image to PDF and a size limit.
Frequently asked questions
How do I compress a PDF to 50 KB?
Drop your PDF in the box above and click “Compress PDF”. The target is set to 50 KB, so the result will be 50 KB or smaller whenever possible.
Will the PDF still be readable?
Yes for most documents. Very long PDFs squeezed into a small size lose sharpness, so split them if needed.
Is my document uploaded?
No. Compression runs entirely in your browser.
