Is an electronic signature legally valid?
In many countries a simple electronic signature like this is accepted for everyday documents such as offer letters, rental agreements and forms. Some documents — for example certain government, court or property papers — may require a certified digital signature or a wet-ink signature. If you are unsure, check with the organisation that asked you to sign. This tool adds a visual signature; it does not add a cryptographic digital certificate.
