Keep your ID copy safe
When sharing ID copies, it's good practice to add a note such as “For KYC at XYZ bank only” with Watermark PDF, so the copy can't easily be reused elsewhere. The official e-Aadhaar PDF can be downloaded from UIDAI's website; this tool is for turning photos or scans of your physical card into a PDF.
The same steps work for PAN card, voter ID, driving licence and passport copies.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to convert my Aadhaar here?
Yes. The photos are converted inside your browser and are never sent to any server.
Can I put front and back on the same page?
Each photo becomes one page. To fit both on one page, take a single photo of both sides placed next to each other.
